The colour of the make-up base should be identical to the natural skin tone, using the colour at the top of the neck under the jawbone as a reference. The colour has to be checked in natural daylight. When hesitating between two shades, it is better to choose half a tone lighter than a natural skin colour to avoid any appearance of tiredness. It is best to test these colours in a MATIS outlet.
